FAQs
Sod or artificial turf?
Sod gives you real grass and costs less up front. Turf costs more to install but needs no mowing, watering or fertilizing and stays green all year. It's great for shady spots, dogs and low-maintenance yards.
Why does soil prep matter?
Sod laid on compacted, poorly graded ground struggles and puddles. We grade, add topsoil and roll the area so roots can take hold.
When is the best time to lay sod?
Spring and fall are ideal here, when it's cool and moist. Summer sod works too, it just needs more watering while it roots in.
How soon can I walk on new sod?
Keep foot traffic light for the first two to three weeks while the roots grab hold. We'll give you a simple watering schedule.
